For the second year in a row PhysioActive sponsored the Sunrype TriKids Triathlon at the H20 Centre. The TriKids Triathlon series is all about instilling confidence in youth through non-competitive and fun triathlon events. Triathlon events involve swimming, cycling and running. The TriKids series is for youth ages 3-15, with each age range completing varying distances. The 2016 TriKids Okanagan race was held on July 17th, and PhysioActive was on hand providing free massage services to athletes and their families. The Kelowna Wine Country Half-Marathon includes a beautiful route through the greenbelt and along the lake with a finish in Waterfront Park. Participants test their endurance with this great event, and then reward themselves afterwards at the Wine & Music Festival. PhysioActive provided free massage services to participants, and we were very busy! So busy, we didn’t have a chance to take many photos of the day.
